Design Document for Fire Safety & Prevention

Problem to Solve: This course was designed and developed to raise hospital employees' awareness of how to prevent fires and address fires in the workplace. Last month, Jonas Salk Hospital experienced superficial fires that may have been prevented through thorough training fire safety and prevention strategies of the healthcare staff.

Solution: The purpose of this training is to decrease incidents of fire by 20% by over the next two (2) months as healthcare staff implement the strategies set forth by Jonas Salk Hospital.

Once the learning objectives are achieved, patients and staff will have an increased sense of security from an incidence of fire during the time they spend at Jonas Salk Hospital.

Design Document for Knitting Course

Problem to Solve: This course was designed and developed to increase sales for the yarn department at the Crafting Corner (fictional client).

Solution: After viewing this training, learners gain a skill to use that raises the need of yarn product. Successful completion of the training results in a coupon for yarn.

Design Document for Interview Training

Problem to Solve: This course was designed and developed to improve the quality and quantity of new hires at  A & G Computers (fictional client). As there is a large number of hires needing to be hired to the technical team, A & G Computers needs the hiring team to be strong and ready to make confident hiring decisions. Furthermore, it is the goal of this training is to decrease overturn of our technical team by 20% by over the next two (2) months as the hiring team members implement the strategies set forth by the team at A & G Computers.

Solution: 

Once the learning objectives are achieved, hiring team members will have an increased sense of achievement from improving the quality of hires at A & G Computers.

Last month, Jonas Salk Hospital experienced superficial fires that may have been prevented through thorough training fire safety and prevention strategies of the healthcare staff.

Solution: This eye-catching graphic was designed to support hospital employees in remembering fire safety and prevention tips by providing a daily visual reminder. This flyer is intended to be posted in all nurse stations and near all fire exits.

Problem to Solve: This virtual instructor-led course was designed and developed to increase compliance of move-out procedures among management employees. Last month, incidents of residents moving out of Home Apartments’ complexes increased by 15% and resident satisfaction of the move-out process decreased by 20%. The stated reason for resident dissatisfaction was the organization of the move-out process. This does not reflect our standards as a company.

Solution: The purpose of this training is to ensure our management employees follow the proper protocols through the resident voluntary move-out process.  It is the goal of this training to improve management employee adherence to the move-out procedure and consequently increase resident satisfaction in the case they do experience the move-out process. As a result of this training, all management employees will consistently adhere to Home Apartments policies.
